A big first,a big Labor day win

The Twins have not won in Toronto since April 2006,they we're due for a win and on this Labor day the did that.

The Twins only scored one run in Clevland Sunday and today they got five in the first inning.

Denard Span led off the inning with a walk,Nick Punto doubled and Joe M.V.P Mauer drove in the   first two runs on a single.Justin Morneau broke his 0-19 hitting slump,driving in Mauer for the third run of the game

.Jason Kubel just missed a two run homer with a double.Micheal Cuddyer drove in Morneau in breaking his own 0-16 slump with a single.Delmong Young then drove in Kubel.

 The Twinkies got anoter run in the sixth when Denard Span dorve in Brain Busher,who was walked.

Jeff Manship got his second start as a Twin,Manship did okay giving up three runs over 4 1/3 innings,his big proplem was that he threw alot of pitches.over 100 in his four innings of work.

The bullpen did a great job,not allowing a run.Bobby Keppel came in for Manship and did give up a single,but then got the next two batters.Ron Mahay got the first two outs of the sixth,Jesse Crain got the last out as well as the seventh,Matt Guerrier got the eighth and Joe Nathan got his 37th save of the season

As I mentioned before it was the Twins first win in Tornto since  April 2006,Brad Radke was the winning pitcher,awww Mr Radke,miss him.

Also  the Jays Aaron Hill left the game becuase his wife went into Labor best luck to them
